If there’s one thing you need as an investor, it’s an advantage.

The biggest advantage you can have is superior insight. Our mission here at Capital & Conflict is simple: To arm you with the insights and ideas you need to help make better, more profitable investment decisions.

We do this every single weekday.

And it’s 100% free of charge.

When you read Capital & Conflict, it’s like having direct access to some of the world’s leading financial economic experts. Award winning City fund managers. Best-selling financial authors. Traders, brokers, entrepreneurs, businessmen and women.

Every day, our team of experts around the world reveal their insights, analysis and opinions on the world of finance, investment and geopolitics… and share them directly with private investors by email.

Things like:

  • Why the authorities in Britain may be planning to abolish cash from the UK and impose negative interest rates on savers
  • The threat Brexit poses to your freedom and your wealth
  • How China’s ‘Silk Road’ project threatens to bring about a new battle for the geopolitical control of the world
  • Why some City fund managers are already preparing for a bank run

And, most important of all, you’ll figure out what you need to do today to become a more successful investor.

We’ll write to you every single day the markets are open. You’ll find out what the big stories really mean. And you’ll hear about stories no one else is telling, but could have a far bigger impact on your financial future.

One thing you should understand right from the outset, though, is this:

We’re not here to report the news.

There are a million different places you can visit to find out ‘what’ is going on out there in the world.

Flick to BBC News 24 or Sky News and you’ll see all manner of numbers, ticker symbols and data flowing ceaselessly across the bottom of your screen.

It’s the same story when you open your newspaper – whether it’s a copy of The Daily TelegraphThe Times or The Guardian.

It’s all the same.

Stocks up. Bond yields down. Tories ahead in the polls. Inflation flat.

That’s information. You can find it anywhere, anytime. On the TV, on the internet and in the papers. You get news and a number or statistic.

But what good is that to you? Does it give you an advantage over other investors?

The average investor has access to an abundance of useless facts and senseless statistics. Everyone knows everything. And almost no one knows anything useful.

By the time you hear oil has crashed… or Putin has sent troops into Crimea… or Greek bond yields have spiked… it’s already too late.

You’re finding out at exactly the same time as everyone else. And all you’re getting is constant… practically worthless… information.

This isn’t a new problem. French economist Frederic Bastiat summed the idea up back in the 1800s in his essay ‘What is seen and not seen’.

‘In the economic sphere an act, a habit, an institution, a law produces not only one effect, but a series of effects. Of these effects, the first alone is immediate; it appears simultaneously with its cause; it is seen. The other effects emerge only subsequently; they are not seen; we are fortunate if we foresee them.

‘There is only one difference between a bad economist and a good one: the bad economist confines himself to the visible effect; the good economist takes into account both the effect that can be seen and those effects that must be foreseen.’

Mainstream news is information. It’s what EVERYONE can see.

Information like that doesn’t help you grow your wealth.

It’s what’s UNSEEN – what isn’t obvious to the masses – that’s truly valuable.

It’s only the insight, expertise and ideas you find outside the mainstream news cycle that help deliver you the biggest returns.

And that’s where the Capital & Conflict team and I come in.

In short, people who are adept at looking beyond the obvious… beyond what everyone can see… and showing you what’s really happening.

The analysts you’ll read are perfectly positioned to deliver useful insights on a daily basis. And every report you read is prepared a stone’s throw away from the City of London – the epicentre of the world’s financial system…

You’ve joined a global investment research network with offices in the USA, Paris, Melbourne, Buenos Aires, Sao Paulo, Mumbai and Beijing.

My hope is that this gives you the perspective, the contacts, and the tools, to help you enjoy even more investment success. (With the added benefit of not having to spend hours compiling this insight from countless experts scattered across the planet – I do all that for you.)
